Never Call Last Run

Skiers recall their days at Ski Blandford. Formally one of the oldest operating ski areas in the country, it’s now the latest to fall victim to climate change. The resort closed permanently in March of 2020, but it’s only a prelude to what’s to come as new research indicates there’s less than twenty years until there are no ski areas left in Southern New England. Never Call Last Run takes a hard look at the effects of rising temperatures on the East Coast and offers a glimmer of hope through one resort that has taken monumental steps towards more sustainable operations – not just for their own survival, but for the future of skiing as we know it.
